Nowhere Sessions was recorded in a secluded family cabin deep in the heart of Iceland, far from the bustle and roar. According to Snorri Hallgrímsson, the old cabin is “not only a retreat but a place of memory and continuity.”
The album is as much about meaningful solitude as it is about solidarity, although the two are often complementary.
The lead single “I Am Weary, Don’t Let Me Rest” is indicative of the album’s intimacy.
