Jóhann Jóhannsson: Piano Works brings together pianist Alice Sara Ott and the repertoire of the Icelandic composer, who passed away in 2018, in a series of solo piano transcriptions released by Deutsche Grammophon. The project is based on arrangements published by Faber Music, drawing from works originally written for film scores (The Theory of Everything, Copenhagen Dreams, Arrival, and Personal Effects) as well as albums such as Englabörn and Orphée.
