On Julia, his fifth studio album, acclaimed Icelandic folktronica musician Ásgeir steps outside of his comfort zone and eschews his father’s voice. The poetry of Einar Georg Einarsson and Júlíus Aðalsteinn Róbertsson, a friend, had provided the lyrics — sometimes via translators — of Ásgeir’s previous compositions.
