As this album’s title implies, and her bio confirms, roots singer/songwriter Miko Marks has been through personal challenges in the four years since her previous release. A marriage of 29 years ended (amicably), she lost her mother and sister and, as the promotional notes say, “she began her journey with sobriety.”
