…Oasis have released a 25th anniversary reissue of their Wembley Stadium live album ‘Familiar to Millions’. The recording of their iconic July 21 2000 show at the London venue was released in November of that year, marking their first ever official live album. Now, the record is being reissued in limited edition formats in both 2CD and 3LP formats.

…The British rock icons offer a slightly expanded edition of 1995’s (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, pairing a 2014 remaster of the album (which initially came with additional bonus material) with a bonus EP of new unplugged mixes of four of the album’s tracks (plus a non-album B-side, “Acquiesce.” The group’s songwriter/guitarist Noel Gallagher and Callum Marinho built these new versions from the original multitrack recordings in Noel’s London studio.
After the much-hyped blockbuster Definitely Maybe (1994) established the Manchester band (led by the volatile brothers Noel and vocalist Liam Gallagher) as England’s hottest new rock outfit, Oasis sought to go even bigger with Morning Glory, swinging for the fences with their songcraft…
…Ostensibly tied to the ongoing reunion tour, Complete Studio Album Collection is exactly what it says: the band’s seven studio albums issued between 1994 and 2008, plus 1998 B-sides collection The Masterplan.
Available on CD and vinyl, the releases include 1994 breakthrough album ‘Definitely Maybe’, 1995’s ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’, 1997’s ‘Be Here Now’, 2000’s ‘Standing On the Shoulder of Giants’, and 2002’s ‘Heathen Chemistry’. Later releases like 2005’s ‘Don’t Believe the Truth’ and 2008’s ‘Dig Out Your Soul’ are also included, as is the iconic B-sides album ‘The Masterplan’.

Wasting no time in the wake of the Gallagher brothers sudden 2009 implosion, Sony released the deluxe Time Flies 1994-2009 retrospective in the summer of 2010, just in time for the 15th anniversary of (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?
The driving idea behind Time Flies is to collect all 27 of Oasis’ British A-sides, a simple idea that would seem to fit one of the great singles band, but sticking to the singles winds up leaving many great songs behind, including their manifesto “Rock & Roll Star,” “Champagne Supernova,” the lovely “Talk Tonight,” and Noel and Liam’s duet “Acquiesce,” among many tremendous B-sides, “(What’s the Story) Morning Glory” and “Champagne Supernova,” to name a few.
