Phish release a new digital box set, Phish: Live In Saratoga Springs 2025. The 55-song compilation collects the Vermont quartet’s complete three-night run at Saratoga Springs, NY’s Broadview Stage at Saratoga Performing Arts Center, which takes place at the tail end of the first leg of the band’s 2025 summer tour. Each of the shows, held from July 25–27, 2025, contains some notable moments: Phish’s opening night features a completely seamless second set, the middle night includes teases of N.I.B. by Black Sabbath, Walk This Way by Aerosmith, December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night) by The Four Seasons, and other tunes, while the final night becomes an instant classic, opening with Tweezer Reprise and culminating with the first-ever “Tweezer” encore…

…New Year’s Eve 1993, Live at Worcester Centrum captures what was then the biggest headlining concert of the band’s career, and the first in a long line of elaborate NYE shows to come.
Phish had played four New Year’s Eve shows before, but none like this. As the band wrapped the second of three sets with “You Enjoy Myself”, Trey Anastasio, Jon Fishman, Page McConnell, and Mike Gordon put on wetsuits during the vocal jam. This complemented the aquarium stage set the band used for its four-night New Year’s run through D.C., New Haven, Portland, and Worcester.
To start set three, underwater sound effects accompanied the band as the members “dived” into the aquarium setup and climbed into the giant clam, which snapped shut on them.
December 28th, 1990, at The Marquee was an interesting time and place for Phish. After making its NYC debut in the spring of 1988, the band bounced around various rooms — including eight shows at the legendary Wetlands Preserve — before making its debut at The Marquee for the band’s 13th career show in New York City. Phish would play The Marquee two more times in 1991, before continuing its climb up the ladder of NYC venues, to The Academy, Mariott Marquis, Roseland Ballroom, and Lonestar Roadhouse before making it to the Beacon Theatre in April ’94 and finally to Madison Square Garden later that year — almost four years exactly from the Marquee gig.
