Forevermore is the eleventh Studio album in the career of the multi-platinum-selling group. Whitesnake are still one of the most successful rock groups of all time. Since the release of their self-titled album in 1987, which alone won several platinum awards, and the two number one hit singles “Here I Go Again” and “Is This Love”, the group has become an integral part of the rock and radio landscape. Whitesnake are an institution in the international music world and one of the few “old warhorses” who still produce credible albums today. With his eloquent, always well-groomed, British-polite manner, frontman David Coverdale is not only regarded as a rock idol, but also as an idolized gentleman in the rock business. Hardly any other musician deals with the themes…

…Featuring 6 previously unissued studio recordings and 7 previously unreleased live recordings.
Released at the dawn of the 21st Century, On the Wire marked the long awaited return of Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry’s to Trojan Records, 14 years after the company had issued his powerful come-back long-player, Battle of Armagideon.
Demonstrating The Upsetter’s eccentric and innovative approach to music-making, the 2000 album comprises a compelling blend of weird and wonderful sounds, over which he delivers typically unpredictable yet captivating lyrics that range from the profound to the absurd.
Upon its release, the Trojan collection was comprehensively praised, with many critics proclaiming Scratch was finally back to his…
The list of releases for Record Store Day 2025 includes a standout item: a new Rage Against the Machine concert album titled Live On Tour 1993. The 2-LP vinyl release compiles 10 “completely untouched and unmixed live recordings” from various cities on RATM’s 1993 tour. In addition to three sides of music, the double vinyl includes one side with an artistic etching.
Among the 10 live tracks are such classics as “Bombtrack” (Washington, D.C.), “Killing in the Name” (Orlando), “Bullet in the Head” (Paris), and “Know Your Enemy” (Toronto).
All told, the collection includes live performances of all 10 songs on Rage Against the Machine’s 1992 self-titled debut album. It’s limited to 15,000 copies and will initially only be…
Originally released in the UK on September 19th, 2005, KC Rules OK quickly became a fan favourite, solidifying King Creosote (aka Kenny Anderson) as a unique voice in British indie folk. The album spawned several notable singles, including “Bootprints,” “Favourite Girl,” and “678,” all of which showcased Anderson’s distinctive songwriting.
The deluxe album pulls together a collection of B sides, songs and remixes, many from the fabled Chorlton And the Wh’Earlies unreleased promo CD including four songs that are completely commercially unreleased and are currently unavailable digitally..
KC Rules OK was King Creosote’s debut album for warner Music, and in December 2009, ranked #6 in The Skinny’s “Scottish Albums of the Decade” poll.
Kate Bush release a new compilation called Best of The Other Sides.
The Other Sides originally consisted of 12-inch mixes, B-sides and cover versions and took up the entirety of the Remastered in Vinyl IV box set in 2018. It was also available on CD in the second of the two CD box sets that were issued at the same time, and then released as a standalone 4CD set in March 2019.
What is effectively now a ‘highlights’ version doesn’t feature anything new, but there are some small changes. Kate says that ‘Experiment IV’ and ‘You Want Alchemy?’ have been remastered especially for this compilation and “both include a small edit”. Kate adds “I felt ‘Experiment IV’ would benefit from a longer intro…
…includes five bonus tracks – music made during the ‘Talk from Home’ sessions, alternative versions as well as a live version of Renee Sleeping, recorded at Japan’s FFTK festival in 2023.
In 2011, an L.A. producer blipped into view thanks to a well-received debut EP on Gerd Janson’s Running Back imprint. Credited to Suzanne Kraft, an alias of dublab DJ Diego Herrera, Green Flash did nu-disco infused with a low-slung pacing and a warmth not unlike a cassette tape left on the dashboard at midday. It was soon followed by the Horoscope EP and a handful of more Balearic cuts from Herrera’s other band, Pharaohs, suggesting that more floor-filling tracks lay ahead.
But when Missum, Kraft’s next release for Running Back, came out last year, it showed…
On November 23, 2024, Avishai Cohen and his Quintet gathered at the world-renowned Little Big Beat Studio for a special Studio Live Session. In the intimate setting of this legendary space, Cohen was joined by Roni Kaspi (drums), Itay Simhovich (piano), Yuval Drabkin (saxophone), and Yonathan Voltzok (trombone). Together they created a performance that was both powerful and delicate, marked by spontaneity, deep interplay, and the unmistakable energy of musicians fully attuned to one another.
The session captures Cohen at his most inspired: lyrical, inventive, and rooted in the rich tradition of jazz while reaching far beyond it. Each composition unfolds like a conversation, with the Quintet’s dynamic shifts, subtle textures…
Even in a late ’60s rich with groundbreaking psychedelic chamber pop, few albums achieved the same magic as the Zombies’ 1968 masterwork Odessey and Oracle. Made by a group spread thin by years of toiling with limited success, the recording budget was limited and the process was rushed, and when the public more or less ignored the final product, the frustrated and disillusioned Zombies broke up. Even under less-than-ideal conditions, however, Odessey and Oracle tapped into a very specific balance of mysterious, moody vocal harmonies, Baroque instrumentation, joyful sunshine pop, and lovelorn songwriting so sadly beautiful that these 12 tunes remain fascinating and unique over 50 years later. The album kicks off with the jaunty, piano-driven “Care of Cell 44″…
In Genesis’ incredible body of work, The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway is a landmark record. Originally released on 22 November 1974, at the pinnacle of their early success, it came at a pivotal point in Genesis’ history. It is rated as one of the greatest albums of its era and one of the most influential progressive rock albums of all time.
This 50th anniversary Super Deluxe Edition is a true celebration of a remarkable album that embraces the groundbreaking music, gives the whole band’s insight alongside evocative imagery and unseen photos. Ultimately it celebrates the huge magnitude of what this record is, which Alexis Petridis sums up perfectly in the opening paragraph of the liner notes… “Perhaps it makes sense that an album as complex as The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway…
Peter Hammill of Van der Graaf Generator fame, started his solo career back in 1971 and was signed to both Charisma and Virgin.
The Charisma & Virgin Recordings 1971-1986 comprises all 13 albums all newly remastered from the original master tapes, along with rare BBC sessions and live recordings.
…The 18 CD collection begins with 1971’s Fool’s Mate, Hammill’s first solo offering after the brief dissolution of Van der Graaf Generator, the legendary progressive rock group for which he was the founding member and vocalist. Next is 1973’s Chameleon in the Shadow of the Night which also features songs recorded at a July 1973 BBC Radio John Peel session; 1974’s The Silent Corner and the Empty Stage come with recordings…
Let’s face it: even Richard D. James has probably lost track of all the aliases he’s forged during his decades-long career. There are the ones we are party to — Aphex Twin, Caustic Window, Polygon Window — and then there are the thousands about which we have undoubtedly been left in the dark.
…Apparently, the electronic music trickster dons his many hats “for a laugh,” as he told Pitchfork’s Philip Sherburne in a rare interview back in 2014, “And I might keep doing it, just keep being anonymous and doing different names.” You only need to glance at Aphex Twin’s ridiculous Warp Records bio for living proof that we will likely never know the truth about the smarty pants “fartist” with a silly sense of humor, and one of the most revered, peerless catalogues in the canon.
…reissue add eight bonus tracks, including five previously unreleased songs, two demos, and one “single mix.”
“I was working, tried my hardest,” Ryan DeRobertis, aka Skylar Spence, sings on Prom King’s disco-tinged ode to self-love “Can’t You See”. “Slowed some music down and called myself an artist.”
The lyric is a recognizable jab at the musician’s own past, a career built on choppy dance remixes of pop songs labeled as “experimental” or “vaporwave,” collected and stacked up like bricks in a well-supported corner of Bandcamp.
But now DeRobertis has made moves to ground himself. He signed to Carpark Records, ditched his previous corporation-provoking moniker, Saint Pepsi, and started singing himself instead…

A deluxe 4-CD box set bringing together the seminal Columbia recordings of Terry Riley. A landmark reissue from one of the most pivotal figures in 20th-century music. The Columbia Recordings brings together the four seminal albums that Terry Riley created for Columbia Masterworks between 1968 and 1980-a body of work that redefined the possibilities of minimalism, electronic music, and compositional freedom. The deluxe 4CD box set includes In C (1968), A Rainbow in Curved Air (1969), Church of Anthrax (1971, with John Cale), and Shri Camel (1980). Each title marks a critical moment not only in Riley’s evolution but in the wider cultural shift of American music: where avant-garde practice collided with high-fidelity production, and radical sonic ideas…
For over 20 years, Hayden Desser has been making music on his own terms and on his own schedule. The three-time JUNO nominee has produced, engineered and mixed most of his records at home, creating a world of his own, exploring themes ranging from love lost and found to bear maulings and home invasions.
Elk-Lake Serenade was originally released in 2004, so I’m a few months late putting out this 20th Anniversary edition. In early 2002, I had just completed a few tours supporting my Skyscraper National Park record, culminating with Toronto’s Convocation Hall performance which was released as a live record that year. I settled back at home and began writing and recording what would slowly become my 4th full length studio album.
When Milo Goes to College landed in 1982, it didn’t just mark the debut of the Descendents, it redrew the lines of American punk. While the hardcore scene of the time often leaned into aggression, nihilism, and politics, the Descendents broke the mold by writing songs about coffee, boredom, awkward crushes, and suburban frustration. The album’s title alone, a nod to singer Milo Aukerman leaving the band to study biochemistry, set the tone: here was punk that was funny, self-aware, and profoundly human. After decades of having their early discography being held by their original label, SST Records, Descendents have regained the rights to their first four albums. The band is now reissuing remastered versions on ORG Music, starting with their seminal debut.
